И отново на път!

ДОБРЕ ДОШЛИ  в новата секция за моите пътувания! Тези от вас, които са чели постовете ми в секция "Пътуване в света на книгите" сигурно си спомнят, че обещах изненада с появата на новата част за моите пътешествия и поводът да препрочета отново "Шогун". ДА, мечтата ми да посетя Страната на Изгряващото слънце - Япония, се сбъдна. В началото на април т.г. със съдействието на агенция "РавелТравел" ние - общо 24 човека, прелетяхме половината планета /10 ч. непрекъснат полет/ от Истанбул до островната държава. Не случайно това е страната, която посреща първа небесното ни светило, не случайно много погледи са насочени натам, неслучайно тя е водеща във всяко отношение - икономическо, културно и духовно, и пример за подражание от останалия свят. On The Road Again!

 WELCOME to the new section about my travels! Those of you who have read my posts in the section "Traveling in the World of Books" probably remember that I promised a surprise with the appearance of the new part about my travels and the occasion to reread "Shogun" again. YES, my dream of visiting the Land of the Rising Sun - Japan, has come true. In early April this year, with the assistance of the RavelTravel agency, we - a total of 24 people - flew half the planet /10 hours of non-stop flight/ from Istanbul to the island state. It is no coincidence that this is the country that first welcomes our celestial body, it is no coincidence that many eyes are directed there, it is no coincidence that it is leading in every respect - economically, culturally and spiritually, and an example for the rest of the world to follow. A voyage in the world of books

 HELLO AGAIN!!! After much thought about continuing the blog, I decided to take you on another journey. This time it will be in the world of books. My passion, apart from traveling, are books - of any genre, era, writers, format, plots. In recent years, I turned to the e-book for a number of reasons - mostly to read late. But unfortunately I found that I miss the smell of paper, flipping through the pages, which has its charm, visiting the bookstore for new editions /and not just because of the pandemic/. Somewhere I came across the following thought /I quote from memory/: that reading a book is like a journey and much better than watching a movie - geographical areas, atmosphere, characters from different times, customs, orders, natural pictures.
